In this work in bronze, the artist, of which we have already discussed in the chapter “The King and Queen”, offers us the vision of this winged creature, with its soft but at the same time hard form that rises effortlessly but determined from the pages of the book from which it originated …
Its takeoff reminds me the Concorde, the most beautiful aircraft, in my opinion, ever conceived so far by man .
I relive it with a shiver of pleasure, looking at this sculpture, his feeling of power, its ability to drag ourselves away from what we were used to living to lead us along on a world 2.4 MAK, at height from which you could see the roundness of the earth, with its speed greatly anticipating the rhythms of day and night …
“Over the knowledge” is a work that can leave the doors open to hopes and dreams, without limits and without restraint … .or, for the viewer with simplicity, which leads us to admire its beauty … Each of us can identify with that winged thing born of those pages to which it is still tied, but who wants to leave projected powerfully in a flight toward the high …
Perhaps it embodies so dreamlike that need for novelty in each of us in contrast with the fear of novelty, our desire to raise us to new horizons to exit from the pages of our lives.
We almost expect to see the squared pages of the book transformed into sensual curves of the bird it off, bringing with them new words, words ever written, bringing with him over the knowledge ….
